Design of a Patch Power Divider With Simple Structure and Ultra-Broadband Harmonics Suppression

This paper introduces a simple H-shaped patch Wilkinson power divider (WPD), which provides ultra wide harmonics suppression band. The presented WPD designed at 1.8 GHz, and exhibits good performance the operating bandwidth. In proposed structure, two low-pass filters (LPFs) are employed each branch, three open ended stubs added port. divider, implemented using aforementioned structures has both higher frequencies, frequency. particular, an band from 3 GHz to 20 encompasses 2nd up 11th harmonic. 1.62 2.1 with bandwidth exceeding 480 MHz. Consequently, fractional (FBW) of 25.8 percent is obtained. results indicate |S11|, |S12|, |S22|, |S23|, equal –17 dB, –3.5 –20 respectively, simulation corroborated through measurements fabricated prototype. superior harmonic capability also demonstrated comparisons state-of-the-art circuits literature.
