Design of High-Precision Terahertz Filter Based on Directional Optimization Correction Method

The directional optimization correction (DOC) method is proposed to reduce the performance error between desired and fabricated terahertz (THz) devices. Three 340 GHz filters with a bandwidth of 20 are designed fabricated. traditional global (GOC) DOC used optimize error, respectively. It garnered that center frequency filter optimized by GOC reduced 3.5 (~1.03%) 2.2 (~11%), Meanwhile, 0.2 (~0.06%) 0.4 (~2.0%), respectively, which has fewer parameters higher accuracy than method. Furthermore, in-band return loss (RL) two based on methods less 15 dB, insertion (IL) 2.3 dB.
