Design of Wireless Sensor Network for Agricultural Greenhouse Based on Improved Zigbee Protocol

Greenhouse cultivation technology has greatly contributed to the development of agriculture in Malaysia. Understanding how monitor greenhouse environment with high efficiency and low power consumption is particularly important. In this research, a wireless sensor network for agricultural greenhouses based on improved Zigbee protocol designed. Its hardware consists various sensors nodes commonly used greenhouses. On basis hardware, research designed topology WMN (Wireless mesh network) by comparing advantages disadvantages topologies, combined structure, proposed an ZigBee routing EMP-ZBR solve question regarding energy loss congestion networks. After testing traditional protocols, superior terms end-to-end average delay, packet delivery rate, control overhead discovery frequency, which were optimized about 1.1%, 15.2%, 8.1 ms different mobile pause times, 9.8%, 19.3%, 15.7% 121 sending rates. The agreement proves that can more effectively alleviate impact improve overall performance data monitoring system
