Designing a Multi-Output Power Supply for Multi-Electrode Arc Welding

Multi-output power converters using different architectures can have significant efficiency advantages. This paper proposes a multi-output welding supply that is based on the middle DC converter distributed architecture. machine includes two groups, and each group comprises three-phase rectifier unit, full-bridge HF (high frequency) transformer, chopper unit. Among these units, unit convert AC voltage into low voltage, converts required current. The output four currents. also analyzes stability of supply. Finally, prototype designed verified through experiments, maximum 300 A. experimental results show currents according to requirement, multiple outputs are independent others, phase value independently adjustable. After verification, proposed steady current requirement.
