چکیده

The feedback control system with network-connected components is vulnerable to cyberattacks. We study a problem of attack detection in supervisory discrete-event systems. scenario subjected actuator enablement attacks considered this article. also consider that some unsafe places should be protected from an attacker exist the system, and controllable events are disabled by supervisor might re-enabled attacker. This article proposes defense strategy detect disable all after detecting attack. design algorithmic procedures determine whether can against damage caused attacks, where predefined as set “unsafe” places. In way, property called “AE-safe controllability”. safe controllability verified using basis diagnoser or verifier. Finally, we explain approach cargo example.

Timed Petri Nets in Hybrid Systems: Stability and Supervisory Control

In this paper, timed Petri nets are used to model and control hybrid systems. Petri nets are used instead of finite automata primarily because of the advantages they offer in dealing with concurrency and complexity issues. A brief overview of existing results on hybrid systems that are based on Petri nets is first presented. A class of timed Petri nets named programmable timed Petri nets (PTPN)...

Supervisory Control and High-level Petri nets

The Supervisory Control Theory (SCT) (Ramadge&Wonham, 1989) was developed to provide a formal methodology for the automatic synthesis of controllers for Discrete Event Systems (DES). In this theory, a system, called a plant, is assumed to have uncontrollable behaviours which may violate some desired specifications. Hence, these behaviours have to be controlled by means of a feedback controller,...

Enforcing Liveness via Supervisory Control in Discrete Event Dynamic Systems Modeled by Completely Controlled Petri Nets

We consider discrete-state plants represented by a class of Controlled Petri nets (cf. 3, 4]) where every transition is individually controllable. We refer to such models as Completely Controlled Petri nets (CCPNs). For these models, a supervisory policy is an implicitly deened table that lists the transitions permitted to re for each reachable marking. A transition in a CCPN is state-enabled a...

This paper expands upon results of previous research dealing with the supervisory control of Petri net modeled discrete event systems that contain uncontrollable transitions. The concept of unobservable plant transitions is introduced here and incorporated into the controller design procedure. New conditions are developed which govern the existence of controllers for these problems. Two procedu...

Supervisory Control of Petri Nets with Language Specifications

In this chapter we discuss how Petri nets can be used in the framework of supervisory control theory. A discrete event system is defined in such a theory as a language generator: this motivates the need to start the chapter with a short but self-contained introduction to Petri net languages. We consider the monolithic supervisory design that requires to construct the concurrent composition of t...
