چکیده
Abstract A novel method to both assess the strength of connectivity and determine hydraulic transit times between water quality monitors from time series data is reported. It was developed using a network over 50 mobile multi-parameter sensors deployed for 18 months across UK drinking distribution system, then validated different utility. Correlation coefficients are calculated at shifts each possible sensor pair, with represented by highest correlation coefficient, temporal lag this also designates time. The results demonstrate potential derive valuable spatio-temporal information, increase understanding system performance connectivity. This information can be used assist further analytics such as tracking events improving disinfection residual decay modelling.

Fungi Occurrence Assessment in Drinking Water Distribution Systems and Its Relationship with Fecal Indicator Bacteria
Introduction: As recommended by World Health Organization, consumption of the fungal contaminated water does not cause to serious infection, but may lead to healthy or aesthetic problems. The aim of this research was to assess the occurrence of fungi in water and its relationship with fecal indicator bacteria. Materials and Methods: 110 water samples were collected from different location of w...
متن کاملSpatio-Temporal Trends and Identification of Correlated Variables with Water Quality for Drinking-Water Reservoirs
It is widely accepted that characterizing the spatio-temporal trends of water quality parameters and identifying correlated variables with water quality are indispensable for the management and protection of water resources. In this study, cluster analysis was used to classify 56 typical drinking water reservoirs in Zhejiang Province into three groups representing different water quality levels...
متن کاملZoning of Bamdej Wetland Water Quality based on the Spatio-temporal Kriging
Inland wetlands are of the most important natural terrestrial types of water resources. Against its importance in protecting and improving biodiversity, air quality and macro-climatic condition of their regions, industrial development, and urbanization treat their natural existence and behavior. Therefore, monitoring and quality evaluation of wetlands are necessary to analyze and infer their na...
متن کاملDistribution System Indicators of Drinking Water Quality
Background and Disclaimer The USEPA is revising the Total Coliform Rule (TCR) and is considering new possible distribution system requirements as part of these revisions. As part of this process, the USEPA is publishing a series of issue papers to present available information on topics relevant to possible TCR revisions. This paper was developed as part of that effort. The objectives of the is...
