Developing Creative Leadership in the Use of Digital Communication Tools: A Psychological Perspective

چکیده

Creative organizations have shifted their daily communication to the virtual environment in response COVID-19. This study examines how media use affects effectiveness between creative leaders and followers from a psychological perspective by reviewing comprehensive literature on leadership, use, distance. A mixed-method methodology is employed investigate ten common configurations. The findings indicate that configured digital tools create certain levels of distance followers. Thus, it crucial for match different construal orientations tasks cultivate followers’ creativity. Using reflective interviews with professionals, we determined impact leadership three aspects: task performance, member feelings perception technology selection. We also identified several situations might hinder To conclude, this proposes “Cognitive Model Media Use Strategy Leadership”, which aims bridge gap theory organizational psychology perspective. confirms exists environment, thus expanding application scenarios “Construal Level Theory” as well providing practical implications selection leading processes.
