چکیده
Although explicit measures of doping attitude are widely used, they susceptible to bias due social desirability. The current computerized implicit attitudes time-consuming and based on expensive software solutions. Recently, paper-and-pencil (p&p) Implicit Association Tests (IAT) have been developed, making it possible test several participants simultaneously, anywhere, with no need equipment software. present series studies aimed at developing a French version p&p IAT measure athletes’ toward (Chan et al., 2017): the IAT-Dop. Four studies, including 212 (Mage = 25.49, SD 5.73), followed Bardin al. (2016) Boateng (2018) validation recommendations: (a) development preliminary IAT-Dop proposal Chan’s tool (2017), (b) dimensionality criterion validity tests demonstrating structure version, (c) test-retest reliability, (d) first approach construct validity. results showed that was able stable across time. Significant correlations between versions confirmed advantages over (Lemm 2008), lower cost ease administration. By offering accurate an easier, faster, cheaper way attitudes, this should contribute better assessment understanding mechanisms related doping, might be useful new indicator in evaluation prevention programs.

The Implicit Association Test and its variants have become pervasive measures of attitudes in a variety of domains and contexts. In two experiments, we provide evidence that a recent variant, the Personalized IAT developed by Olson and Fazio (2004) may more accurately detect changes in personal attitudes than the conventional Traditional IAT devised by Greenwald, McGhee, and Schwartz (1998). BACKGROUND Knowing and, if necessary, altering competitive athletes' real attitudes towards the use of banned performance-enhancing substances is an important goal of worldwide doping prevention efforts. However athletes will not always be willing to reporting their real opinions. Reaction time-based attitude tests help conceal the ultimate goal of measurement from the participant and impede st...

متن کاملExtending the Implicit Association Test (IAT): Assessing Consumer Attitudes Based on Multi-Dimensional Implicit Associations
BACKGROUND The authors present a procedural extension of the popular Implicit Association Test (IAT) that allows for indirect measurement of attitudes on multiple dimensions (e.g., safe-unsafe; young-old; innovative-conventional, etc.) rather than on a single evaluative dimension only (e.g., good-bad). METHODOLOGY/PRINCIPAL FINDINGS In two within-subjects studies, attitudes toward three autom...
