Development of an Ultra-High-Performance Fibre-Reinforced Concrete (UHPFRC) Manufacturable at Ambient Temperature

Ultra-high-performance fibre-reinforced concrete (UHPFRC) manufacturing typically requires heat curing. UHPFRC production at a ready-mixed (RMC) plant is often difficult because specific equipment required for Concerns associated with ultra-high-performance (UHPC) construction include the energy costs and environmental impacts of curing transportation from factory to site. Few studies have been conducted on under standard conditions. The strength properties manufactured are poorer than those materials mixture proportions manufacturable ambient temperature conditions were investigated. Five types cement four powder tested, as well fine aggregate needed achieve proper fluidity. This paper reports that having low C3A high C3S suitable temperatures; allowable volume was 600 kg/m3 dispersion steel fibres; highest water-binder ratio (W/B) 21% found cured temperature.
