Development of Charging/Discharging Scheduling Algorithm for Economical and Energy-Efficient Operation of Multi-EV Charging Station

As the number of electric vehicles (EVs) significantly increases, excessive charging demand parked EVs in station may incur an instability problem to electricity network during peak hours. For take a microgrid (MG) structure, economical and energy-efficient power management scheme is required for provision while considering local load MG. these purposes, this study presents interdependent MG EV fleets aided by novel charging/discharging scheduling algorithm. In algorithm, maximum amount discharging from determined based on difference between photovoltaic (PV) production alleviate imbalances occurred them. with PV-based station, multi-objective optimization performed minimize operating cost grid dependency. addition, proposed maximizes utilization satisfying requirements EVs. Moreover, more established using future trends PV predicted gated recurrent unit (GRU) network. With decreased 167.71% 28.85% compared algorithm conventional respectively. It obvious that operation can be accomplished applying strategy.
