Development of High Temperature Multi-Layer Laser Flash Artefacts

چکیده
Abstract Delamination of the interlayers multi-layer systems can cause a degradation in functionality, stability and life span that system. This is even more pertinent for at high temperature. Laser flash analysis (LFA) has long been used thermophysical properties measurements temperatures. Multi-layer reference artefacts, with without, debonded regions are required validating thermal characterisation such using LFA. Although some high-temperature bulk candidate materials were developed studied, e.g. European Metrology Research Programme (EMRP) funded Joint Project (JRP) ENG08 Metrofission, they not able to meet requirements In Innovation (EMPIR) JRP 17IND11 Hi-TRACE project, National Physical Laboratory developing including both fully bonded partially de-bonded temperatures from room temperature above 1000 °C paper details methodology production, measurement validation isotropic graphite hafnium based with, partial debonding. Reproducibility, sensitive parameters concerning response artefacts will be discussed, recommendation on usage criteria as LFA artefacts.

Thermal Properties Measurements Using Laser Flash Technique at Cryogenic Temperature
In the frame of the Italian TRASCO program, we have studied the possibility to stiff SC cavities by deposition of thermal sprayed copper on thin niobium. We have investigated the use of the Laser Flash technique to test the thermal conductivity in the normal direction of deposited copper with the Pure Coat technique. The use of Au-Fe/Cromel P thermocouples as temperature sensors, motivated by t...
متن کاملEffects of artefacts on scanning laser polarimetry of retinal nerve fibre layer thickness measurement.
AIMS To investigate the effects of artefacts on scanning laser polarimetry of the retinal nerve fibre layer. METHODS Six eyes of six normal volunteers and an artificial nerve fibre layer were examined using the nerve fibre analyser II. The retinal nerve fibre layer thickness (RNFLT) was measured in each of four 90 degree quadrants, superior (S), temporal (T), inferior (I), and nasal (N), at 1...

Paper-based artefacts (e.g., forms, manuals, questionnaires) are used ubiquitously and pervasively to support a wide set of activities. Education and Health Care are major examples of such endeavour. However, given the passiveness of the medium itself, several problems (e.g., communication, adjustment, lack of interactivity) are usually encountered within these activities which hinder human eff...

NASA’s Autonomous Landing and Hazard Avoidance Technologies (ALHAT) project is currently developing the critical technologies to safely and precisely navigate and land crew, cargo and robotic spacecraft vehicles on and around planetary bodies. One key element of this project is a high-fidelity Flash Lidar sensor that can generate three-dimensional (3-D) images of the planetary surface. These im...
