چکیده

Neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio (NLR) can be a potential biomarker for disease activity and prognosis in the development of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). AIM: determine if there are difference between NLR value patient with nephritis without nephritis. METHOD: The subjects this study were patients SLE diagnosis Dr. Hasan Sadikin General Hospital Bandung during period January December 2019. selected statistical test was non-parametric Mann-Whitney test, analysis receiver operating curve (ROC) conducted obtain cut-off predicting Data processing using SPSS® software version 20.0. RESULTS: total obtained data 156 patients. There significant (median 4.20, while median 2.82, p <0001, >3.52 sensitivity 67.6%, specificity 67.1% distinguishing DISCUSSION: Lupus marked by deposition immune complex kidney, which would activate complement system inflammatory cells such as neutrophils, monocytes, eosinophils T-lymphocytes. CONCLUSIONS: On study, it that on yielded <0.05. However, has not been determined parameter (flare-ups) prognosis.

The evaluation of neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio and platelet to lymphocyte ratio in patients with rheumatoid arthritis with and without ocular complications

Background: Rheumatoid Arthritis patients are evaluated during treatment for various inflammatory factors such as C-reactive protein, Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate, and Disease Activity Score, and other immune system-related factors. In the follow-up of patients with rheumatoid arthritis, hematologic factors associated with the immune system especially Platelet to Lymphocyte Ratio and Neutroph...

Relationship between Neutrophil-to-lymphocyte Ratio and the Severity of Coronary Artery Disease in Patients Undergoing Cardiac Catheterization

Introduction: Neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) is considered as an independent predictor of long-term prognosis in the individual patients with coronary artery disease (CAD). This study sought to assess the relationship between NLR and CAD severity in Iranian patients undergoing cardiac catheterization.Material and Methods: This prospective study was conducted on 500 patients with acute cor...

Relationship between Neutrophil-to-Lymphocyte Ratio and Pulse Wave Velocity in Young Patients with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus

BACKGROUND The incidence of atherosclerosis-related myocardial infarction can be as much as 50-fold greater in young patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) than in age-matched controls. There are several explanations for this phenomenon, all of which result in a chronic state of low-grade inflammation. Recently, the neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) has been proposed as a useful bi...

The relationship between neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio and myocardial bridge

In autopsy studies, prevalence has been reported as between 15 % and 85 %. The wide range of values is believed to be due to the low sensitivity of coronary angiography in congenital anomaly diagnosis. 2,3 MB is generally benign in character but in some cases may cause complications such as unstable angina pectoris, fatal ventricular arrhythmias, acute myocardial infarct, syncope, atrioventricu...

Relationship between neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio and slow coronary flow.

OBJECTIVES We evaluated the relationship between neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio (NLR) and slow coronary flow (SCF). METHODS A total of 180 participants were recruited to the present study. Of all the participants, 82 patients were with SCF and 98 participants were with normal coronary arteries. Basal characteristics were recorded. Coronary flow was quantified by thrombolysis in myocardial inf...
