Digital battery capacity meter with battery charger

In this paper, a digital battery capacity meter with an integrated charger is developed and built. Also, the software used to control monitor microcontroller of device from PC has been developed, so that data obtained measurement can be processed compared further using one available spreadsheet packages. Due widespread use electrochemical energy sources, whether primary ones or type, it extremely important know measure their actual capacity. Primary cell helps in selecting most appropriate solution (with respect cost/ ratio) for powering portable mobile devices. By measuring battery, its condition capability exploitation determined.
