Digital Competencies for New Journalistic Work in Media Outlets: A Systematic Review

Media organizations operate in a rivalry-charged ecosystem nowadays, as consequence of emerging patterns news production, distribution, and consumption. Furthermore, the growing public social media manifestations arrival digital journalism require new professional roles, responsibilities, skills inside industry. In this context, Faculties Communication need to equip students with competencies that are relevant outlets journalistic work. Based on approach, main objective study is answer following questions: What does literature suggest about profiles should acquire field journalism? Which dimensions competence gaining visibility which being neglected? To scientific objectives, systematic review has been carried out PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews Meta-Analyses) statement. The application two models competence, Bloom’s taxonomy (1956), education (Redecker, 2017), serves framework ways: determine level development, identify greater emphasis placed. results show lack studies linked key aspects especially those related personal growth, emotional state development deep acquisition (Bloom, 1956). This article proposes reflect whether we want train professionals according model demanded by or prefer communication since they able respond future changing needs 21st century.
