Discrete hybrid Izhikevich neuron model: Nodal and network behaviours considering electromagnetic flux coupling

We analyse the dynamics of improved discretised version well known Izhikevich neuron model under action external electromagnetic field. It is found that three dimensional IZH map shows rich dynamics. With variation field, period-doubling route to chaos in a repeating fashion observed from bifurcation diagram. Even forward and backward continuation diagram which do not completely overlap suggests there multistability system. The phenomenon bistability (coexistence periodic chaotic attractors) observed. presence attractor aided by maximal Lyapunov exponent phase field synapses current large parameter region behaviours with unbounded regions as well. plethora spiking bursting patterns such mixed-mode patterns, tonic spiking, phasic steady spikes, regular spike bursting, firing etc coupling strength current. also investigate chimera states ring-star, ring, star networks neurons. Chimera are case ring-star ring network while synchronised clusters were spatiotemporal plots, space-time plot, recurrence plots. shown makes it promising research study about neurodynamics.
