Discrete Self?Assembled Metallo?Foldamers with Heteroleptic Sequence Specificity

چکیده
Discrete and structurally diverse foldamer sequences are constructed in both natural abiotic systems primarily using inert connectivity with irreversible organic covalent bonds, serving to preserve the identity of sequence. The formation under thermodynamic control labile coordination bonds would be attractive for synthetic ease modular capability, but this presents issues regarding sequence preservation. Here is presented an approach integrating palladium(II) metal ions into itself, fidelity maintained through use complementary pairings ligand arrangements at centre. This accomplished sites different denticity and/or hydrogen bonding capability. In fashion, discrete ordered metallo-sequences formed as products a single step, these then fold defined conformations due ?–? interactions between electron-rich -poor aromatic regions combined componentry.

Optimal discrete search with imperfect specificity
A target is hidden in one of several possible locations, and the objective is to nd the target as fast as possible. One common measure of e ectiveness for the search process is the expected time of the search. This type of search optimization problem has been addressed and solved in the literature for the case where the searcher has imperfect sensitivity (possible false negative results), but p...
متن کاملSensitivity and Specificity of Nucleic Acid Sequence-Based Amplification Method for Diagnosis of Cutaneous Leishmaniasis
Abstract Background and Objective: Culture, microscopic method is a gold standard method for identification of Lishmania parasite. The use of Molecular methods such as RT- PCR compared to microscopic methods has a higher sensitivity and specificity however, it is not widely used due to its expensive equipment and the time requested. The use of nucleic acid sequence based amplification (NASBA) ...
متن کاملSequence specificity of human telomerase.
DNA replication machinery copies an entire genome with remarkable speed and accuracy in preparation for each cell division. However, DNA polymerase unidirectionality and requirement for a free 3′ hydroxyl group render these enzymes incapable of duplicating the extreme ends of eukaryotic linear chromosomes. This deficiency leads to a gradual loss of terminal sequence with each round of replicati...
متن کاملZinc Finger Recombinases with Adaptable DNA Sequence Specificity
Site-specific recombinases have become essential tools in genetics and molecular biology for the precise excision or integration of DNA sequences. However, their utility is currently limited to circumstances where the sites recognized by the recombinase enzyme have been introduced into the DNA being manipulated, or natural 'pseudosites' are already present. Many new applications would become fe...
متن کاملChimeric TALE recombinases with programmable DNA sequence specificity
Site-specific recombinases are powerful tools for genome engineering. Hyperactivated variants of the resolvase/invertase family of serine recombinases function without accessory factors, and thus can be re-targeted to sequences of interest by replacing native DNA-binding domains (DBDs) with engineered zinc-finger proteins (ZFPs). However, imperfect modularity with particular domains, lack of hi...
