چکیده

In order to achieve the effective utilization of limonitic nickel laterite for stainless steel production at lower cost, distinct difference in high-temperature characteristics between and ordinary limonite has been systematically expounded via compact sintering method comparative analysis relevant performance suitable basicity also conducted through sinter pot tests. The results indicate that possesses much poorer assimilability liquid phase fluidity due abundant high-smelting minerals compared with limonite. strength bonding matrix is relatively better as not exceed 1.4 while maintained a higher level no less than 1.8. Meanwhile, former far weaker latter amount phase, rather porosity looser microstructure matrix. Limonitic identified more refractory ore limonite, further supported by It essential strengthen from standpoints how promote formation densification sinter.
