Distributed control framework and scalable small-signal stability analysis for dynamic microgrids

As a growing number of microgrids (MGs) has been integrated into the modern power grids, interconnection and applicable cooperation among multiple MGs motivate development networked MGs. Dynamic MGs, as an advanced structure, can not only integrate distribution system but also fulfill requested network reconfiguration with improved flexibility. A general distributed control approach for is reviewed. framework dynamic operation developed, along extensible architecture considerations large-scale energy resources (DERs) integration. scalable small-signal stability analysis conducted per proposed strategies conditions under which exponentially stable are derived. At last, effectiveness verified using 6-bus test feeder.
