Distribution Locational Marginal Pricing (DLMP) for Unbalanced Three-Phase Networks

This paper applies the principles of distribution locational marginal pricing (DLMP) to unbalanced three-phase networks. We first propose a linear model for AC optimal power flow derived through series approximation and reformulation techniques. Then scenario-generation algorithm is proposed properly uncertain parameters in model. Through No U-Turn sampler (NUTS) based algorithm, probability density functions (PDFs) DLMPs are calculated. These PDFs provide statistical information about temporal price risks. By means applications two IEEE test networks, numerical results show promising performance NUTS-based creating DLMPs. DLMP densities will be increasingly useful as system operators seek flexible, low risk solutions from embedded generators aggregators distributed energy resources.
