Double stage converter with low current stress for low to high voltage conversion in nanogrid

چکیده
A low to high voltage conversion technique has been proposed in this paper using double stages of switched inductors for nanogrid applications. The converter topology utilizes fewer components, achieves gain at a small value duty ratio, and efficiency. Moreover, the provides reduced switch current stress obtain stable constant boosted DC voltage. Therefore, it requires low-current rating switches hence leads cost reduction. Additionally, load source end are connected same ground. principle operation, theoretical waveforms Continuous Conduction Mode (CCM), Discontinuous (DCM) with steady-state analysis discussed. detailed discussion about effect non-idealities on conversion, design comparison performance characteristics such as number Voltage Gain CCM, stress, normalized efficiency other converters presented. experimental results 500W laboratory prototype also shown validate operation converter.
