Droop Method Development for Microgrids Control Considering Higher Order Sliding Mode Control Approach and Feeder Impedance Variation

Due to the growing power demands in microgrids (MGs), necessity for parallel production achieved from distributed generations (DGs) supply load required by customers has been increased. Since DGs have procure demand mode, they are faced with several technical and economic challenges, such as preventing overloading not losing network stability considering feeder impedance variation. This paper presents a method that upgrades droop controller based on sliding mode approach, so able prepare suitable reactive sharing without error even more complex MGs. In proposed strategy, third-order significantly reduces V-Q increases accuracy adjusting voltage at DG output terminals. Various case studies conducted out this validate truthfulness of method, analysis using Lyapunov function. Finally, comparing control parameters technique existing methods, superiority, simplicity effectiveness 3rd order (SMC) determined.
