Dual-Link Synchronous Acquisition and Transmission System for Cabled Seafloor Earthquake Observatory

Seafloor observatories play a crucial role in acquiring continuous and precise submarine monitoring data, thereby holding significant implications for advancing major scientific advancements marine science, particularly the field of seafloor earthquake observation. This work mainly builds dual-link observation system designed observing seismic information on based Zynq7000 system-on-chip time synchronization module. The is SoC(MILIANKE; Changzhou, China) AD7768(Analog Devices, Inc.; Norwood, MA, USA) to achieve eight-channel data (24 bit) synchronous acquisition, robustness improved by upgrading link full-duplex transmission adding node self-storage function. P88 1588 PTP single board(CoolShark; Beijing, used provide PPS (Pulse per second) signals realize microsecond timestamps support subsequent inversion. An upper computer Qt framework also developed monitor network condition real while visualizing transmission. For acquisition signals, we employed triaxial sensors. Additionally, temperature humidity module, along with an attitude detection was enable real-time nodes. These modules not only facilitate nodes but contribute experimental results indicate that provides good high accuracy, reliability inter-node transmission, which has application prospects.
