Dynamic-Decoupled Active Damping Control Method for Improving Current Transient Behavior of <i>LCL</i>-Equipped High-Speed PMSMs

In this article, a novel dynamic-decoupled active damping current controller is proposed for an LCL -equipped high-speed permanent magnet synchronous machine. Compared with the conventional stationary current-control method -type system, established in rotating frame improving transient performance. When taking into coordinate, there are two following challenges: first, resonance frequency varying wide range because of coordinate transformation, and second, eliminating coupling between ${dq}$ coordinate. To address these issues, improved capacitor-current-feedback designed based on arbitrary pole assignment significantly effective within Nyquist frequency. Moreover, motor-current to eliminate -axis motor current. The gain selection discussed acquire sufficient phase margin margin. Finally, effectiveness verified by driving tested 72 kr/min.
