Dynamic linear adsorption with solid adsorbent material

A mathematical problem of linear physical adsorption a dissolved impurity is formulated, by consider-ing its diffusion transfer during the filtration an aqueous suspension through uniform adsorbent bed at constant rate. By averaging concentrations in free and bound states over arbi-trary time period, approximate solution obtained, which only expressed terms elementary functions. On basis, it proposed to calculate rational duration filter run. The discussed illustrated with number examples typical input data.
