چکیده
Abstract The present work reports an efficient way of capturing real-time crack propagation in concrete structures. modified spectral analysis based algorithm and finite element modeling (FEM) were utilised for detection quantitative propagation. Crack was captured cement-based composite (CBC) containing saw dust M20 grade under compressive loading using a simple inexpensive 8-megapixel mobile phone camera. randomly selected images showing initiation CBCs demonstrated the capability developed algorithm. A measure oriented energy provided at edges to develop similarity spatial relationship among pairwise pixels. FE modelling used distress anticipation, by analysing stresses during test constituents CBCs. jointly with algorithm, can provide inputs from crack-prone areas useful early structures preventive support management.

Pavement Crack Detection Using Spectral Clustering Method
Pavement crack detection plays an important role in pavement maintaining and management, nowadays, which could be performed through remote image analysis. Thus, edges of pavement crack should be extracted in advance; in general, traditional edge detection methods don’t consider phase information and the spatial relationship between the adjacent image areas to extract the edges. To overcome the ...
متن کاملCrack Analysis, Using a New Coupled FE-EFG Method
To solve crack problems, some coupled methods have been developed in recent years. Most of these methods have some shortcomings such as the need for a transition region. The finite element and enriched element free Galerkin methods are widely used for this class of problems. In order to take the advantages of these methods while avoiding the disadvantages, it is essential to follow solution app...
متن کاملCrack Detection In Functionally Graded Beams Using Conjugate Gradient Method
In this paper the conjugate gradient (CG) method is employed for identifying the parameters of crack in a functionally graded beam from natural frequency measurement. The crack is modeled as a massless rotational spring with sectional flexibility. By using the Euler-Bernoulli beam theory on two separate beams respectively and applying the compatibility requirements of the crack, the characteris...

Structural damage detection is a field that has attracted a great interest in the scientific community in recent years. Most of these studies use dynamic analysis data of the beams as a diagnostic tool for damage. In this paper, a massless rotational spring was used to represent the cracked sections of beams and the natural frequencies and mode shape were obtained. For calculation of rotational...
