چکیده
Abstract Background This study compared the early clinical recovery of total hip arthroplasty (THA) using computer navigation systems (nTHA) and robotic arm-assisted THA (rTHA). Methods Thirty prospective subjects who underwent rTHA were clinically to 30 nTHA. Clinical data (surgical time, intraoperative blood loss, pain severity, number days independent walking, Harris Hip Score (HHS) at discharge), radiographic parameters (inclination anteversion angles) statistically between two groups. Results Follow-up times 24.3 ± 6.0 27.0 7.0 in nTHA groups, respectively. The surgical time (135.1 13.9 min vs. 146.2 12.8 min, p = 0.002), walking (7.2 2.0 11.5 3.0 days, < 0.001), postoperative a numeric rating scale on 7, 10,, 14 (1.4 0.9 2.2 1.2, 0.005; 1.0 0.8 1.8 1.1, 0.002; 0.3 0.5 1.1 0.9, 0.001; respectively) significantly reduced group group. showed higher HHS (85.3 .3.2 81.0 8.5, 0.014). No significant difference was observed groups; however, incidence target angle changes lower than (0/30 [0%] 11/30 [36.7%], 0.001). Conclusion pain, shorter, discharge Thus, group, improved recovery.

Robotic-assisted total hip arthroplasty (THA) is a recent platform introduced to decrease the risk of malpositioned components. The goals of this study were to determine whether intraoperative data on robotic-assisted THA acetabular component position accurately predict postoperative radiographic acetabular component position and to determine whether intraoperative data on robotic-assisted THA ...

Acetabular cup positioning, leg-length discrepancy, and global offset are important parameters associated with outcomes following total hip arthroplasty (THA). Deviation from an accepted range of values can lead to significant complications, including dislocation, leg-length discrepancy, impingement, accelerated bearing surface wear, and revisions. The purpose of this study was to assess whethe...

A CT-based navigation system is helpful to evaluate the reamer shaft and the impactor position/orientation during unilateral total hip arthroplasty (THA). The main objective of this study is to determine the accuracy of the Navitrack system by measuring the implant's true anteversion and inclination, based on pre- and postoperative CT scans (n = 9 patients). The secondary objective is to evalua...

In recent literatures dealing with optimization of prosthetic alignment in total hip arthroplasty (THA), the concept of combined anteversion (CA), which is the sum of acetabular anteversion (AV) and femoral antetorsion (AT), has been addressed. Widmer attempted to determine the optimal CA using a computer simulation study . He proposed the “new safe zone” for the CA value to achieve essential r...
