EFEKTIVITAS PENGGUNAAN MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING BERBANTUAN MIND MAPPING TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN PROSES SAINS SISWA

Pembelajaran sains, seyogyanya lebih menekankan pada proses. Penggunaan model dan metode pembelajaran yang tidak sesuai membuat peserta didik memahami mengerti akan konsep-konsep ada setiap materi ilmu dipaparkan. Oleh sebab itu dibutuhkan sebagai sarana untuk mempermudah siswa dalam suatu materi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui efektivitas Problem Based Learning berbantuan Mind Mapping terhadap peningkatan keterampilan proses sains sub pokok Vertebrata. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 3 Ciamis. Metode digunakan Pre-Experimental Designs dengan menggunakan desain One Group Pretest Postest Design. Populasi seluruh kelas X IPA SMAN Ciamis terdiri dari berjumlah 95 Siswa. Data diperoleh, olah uji statistik non-parametrik Wilcoxon. Dari hasil perhitungan wilcoxon ketahui Whitung < Wdaftar perolehan sebesar 97,5 137,2. Hasil menununjukkan bahwa efektif Vertebrata tingkat pengaruh sedang (N- gain 0,56). Efektivitas penggunaan menunjukkan nilai effect size tinggi 0,8 Percent of Nonoverlap 47,40% Percentile Standing 79. Kata kunci : Learnig, Mapping, Keterampilan Proses Sains
