چکیده
Introduction:DCC is a common practice with several benefits. The benefits of DCC are decreased risk anemia, less incidence periventricular leukomalacia, NEC. This study tries to compare the effect different duration delayed cord clamping on serum bilirubin, hematocrit and hemodynamic status neonate. Material method:A prospective was done over span one year comprising 150 full term neonates. After obtaining consent prior before delivary females who met inclusion criteria were randomly assigned 3 groups. For group 1 clamped at 30 sec, 60 sec for 2 120 3. Exact time recorded using stop watch. Serum bilirubin level parameters like respiratory rate, pulse capillary refill temperature assessed day three. Results: Group showed mean % 41.51 (SD 10.28). 45.11 (9.4) 45.64 (8.37).

BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVE Delayed cord clamping (DCC) has been advocated during preterm delivery to improve hemodynamic stability during the early neonatal period. The hemodynamic effects of DCC in premature infants after birth have not been previously examined. Our objective was to compare the hemodynamic differences between premature infants randomized to either DCC or immediate cord clamping ...
