The gas permeation behavior in the single crystal of syndiotactic polystyrene (s-PS) S-I form was investigated detail, comparison to that s-PS ɛ form. exhibits high separation factors for CO2/N2 (∼180) and CO2/CH4 (∼500), while preserving its CO2 permeability 8000 Barrers; a trade-off between selectivity broken through. mechanism effective efficient transport examined relation cavity structure crystal.
