Effective field theory analysis of composite higgsino-like and wino-like thermal relic dark matter

چکیده

We study the effective field theory (including operators up to dimension five) of models in which dark matter is composite, consisting either an electroweak doublet Dirac fermion (`higgsino-like matter') or triplet Majorana (`wino-like matter'). Some dimension-five former case cause mass splittings between neutralino and chargino states, leading a depleted rate coannihilations viable thermal relic with masses order tens hundreds GeV rather than usual pure higgsino 1 TeV. No such effects are found latter (where 3 TeV). Other operators, present for both wino- higgsino-like matter, correspond inelastic electromagnetic dipole moment interactions annihilation through these can lead by magnitude compared values.

Higgsino and Wino Dark Matter from Q-ball Decay

We claim that the Higgsino-like and wino-like neutralinos can be good dark matter candidates if they are produced by the late time decay of Q-ball. The late time decays of the Q-balls into these LSP’s and subsequent pair annihilations of the LSP’s naturally lead to the desired mass density of dark matter. Furthermore, these dark matter can be much more easily detected by the dark-matter search ...

Nucleon scattering with higgsino and wino cold dark matter

Neutralinos that are mostly wino or higgsino are shown to be compatible with the recent DAMA annual modulation signal. The nucleon scattering rates for these dark matter candidates are typically an order of magnitude above the oft-considered bino. Although thermal evolution of higgsino and wino number densities in the early universe implies that they are not viable dark matter candidates, non-t...

Direct Detection of the Wino- and Higgsino-like Neutralino Dark Matters at One-Loop Level

The neutralino-nucleon (χ̃0-N) scattering is an important process for direct dark matter searches. The tree-level neutralino-nucleon scattering mediated by one Higgs or Z boson exchange is suppressed in a pure gaugino or Higgsino limit. The oneloop corrections to the scattering cross section may not be neglected when the tree-level cross section is as close as the proposed sensitivities of the f...

Wino-like Minimal Dark Matter and future colliders

We extend the Standard Model with an EW fermion triplet, stable thanks to one of the accidental symmetries already present in the theory. On top of being a potential Dark Matter candidate, additional motivations for this new state are the stability of the vacuum, the fact it does not introduce a large fine-tuning in the Higgs mass, and that it helps with gauge coupling unification. We perform a...

Heavy Wino-like Neutralino Dark Matter Annihilation into Antiparticles

The lightest neutralino is a viable dark matter (DM) candidate. In this paper we study indirect detection of the wino-like neutralino DM using positrons and antiprotons from the annihilation in the galactic halo. When the mass is around 2 TeV, which is favored from the thermal relic abundance, the nonperturbation effect significantly enhances the annihilation cross sections into positrons and a...
