Effective magnetic monopole mechanism for localized electron pairing in HTS

چکیده

The mechanism responsible for spatially localized strong coupling electron pairing characteristic of high-temperature superconductors (HTS) remains elusive and is a subject hot debate. Here we propose new HTS which the binding two electrons residing in adjacent conducting planes layered materials by effective magnetic monopoles forming between these planes. pairs near form real-space seeds superconducting droplets due to topological Dirac quantization condition. occurs well above transition temperature T c . Localized around promotes, upon cooling, formation connected Josephson links. Global superconductivity arises when strongly coupled granules an infinite cluster, global phase coherence sets in. resulting estimated fall range from hundred thousand Kelvins. Our findings pave way tailoring with elevated temperatures.
