Effective quantum dust collapse via surface matching

چکیده
The fate of matter forming a black hole is still an open problem, although models quantum gravity corrected holes are available. In loop (LQG) were presented, which resolve the classical singularity in centre by means black-to-white transition, but neglect collapse process. situation similar other approaches, where eternal non-singular this paper, strategy presented to generalise these dynamical surface matching. Assuming 1) validity static spacetime outside collapsing matter, 2) homogeneity and 3) differentiability at fixes dynamics uniquely. It argued that assumptions resemble pressure-less dust thus generalises Oppenheimer-Snyder-Datt model, no precise model has be assumed. Hawking radiation systematically neglected approach. junction conditions discussed generically for bouncing spacetimes, as proposed LQG, scheme approach independent. Further, equations explicitly solved recent [1] global picture achieved. causal structure detail Penrose diagram constructed. trajectory completely constructed from inside observer point view. general analysis shows re-expanding crosses diagonally. This way infinite tower diagrams, several LQG models, not cut out. Questions about different timescales in- observers can answered.

Surface Matching via Currents
We present a new method for computing an optimal deformation between two arbitrary surfaces embedded in Euclidean 3-dimensional space. Our main contribution is in building a norm on the space of surfaces via representation by currents of geometric measure theory. Currents are an appropriate choice for representations because they inherit natural transformation properties from differential forms...
متن کاملErratum: Quantum gravitational collapse of a charged dust shell
A simple self gravitating system—a thin spherical shell of charged pressureless matter— is naively quantized as a test case of quantum gravitational collapse. The model is interpreted in terms of an inner product on the positive energy states. An S-matrix is constructed describing scattering between negatively and positively infinite radius.

متن کاملRelativistic Gravitational Collapse of Cylindrical Dust
The gravitational collapse of a cylindrical thick shell of dust matter is investigated. A spacetime singularity forms at the symmetry axis and it is necessarily naked, i.e., observable in principle. We propose a physically reasonable boundary condition at the naked singularity to construct the solution including its causal future. This boundary condition enables us to construct the unique conti...
متن کاملThe gravitational collapse of a dust ball
It is shown that the description of collapse given by the classic model of Oppenheimer and Snyder fails to satisfy a crucial matching condition at the surface of the ball. After correcting the model so that the interior and exterior metrics match correctly, it is established that the contraction process stops at the Schwarzschild radius, that there is an accumulation of particles at the surface...
