Effectiveness of local microorganisms (LMO) coconut pulp on composting time

Compost can be used to reduce waste, it formed naturally, but will take a long time, around 6-12 months. Bioactivators accelerate composting process; one of them is solution LMO (Local Microorganism) coconut pulp. The purpose this study determine the effectiveness pulp for time. method in research quasi-experimental. This consists 3 treatments with 5 replications. Treatment 1 addition 50,000 ppm; treatment 2 100,000 200,000 ppm. materials are vegetables and sawdust process carried out aerobically. From observations, average time compile ppm 21.00 (21 days), 18.60 (19 days) 18.20 (18 days). Based on ANOVA test, p value 0.0001 (p <0.05) which means that H0 rejected, there significant difference using ppm, most between compost It recommended further researchers other types test quality produced especially C/N compost. community use as bioactivator accelerating process.
