&lt;p&gt;Farmers all over the world spend millions of dollars to partially control plant diseases that attack their crops using agrochemicals pollute environment. Plant reduces crop yield, quality and shelf life. Enhancing inherent ability plants resist elicitors minerals is one neglected, sustainable, low cost environmental friendly approaches ensure continued supply food fiber.Therefore aim this paper evaluate composition in autoclaved unautoclaved water extract Pleurotus osteratus spent mushroom substrate effects its application on management African cassava mosaic virus (ACMV), growth yield cassava. The treatments for investigation comprised (POWESMS), (POAWESMS) untreated as control. mineral compositions were evaluated standard procedures. data generated subjected analysis variance (ANOVA) at (p=0.05). results obtained from revealed significant differences values resistant minerals. Significant also recorded growth, parameters disease severity 4 weeks interval. showed performed significantly better than reducing ACMD which did not translate higher yield.&lt;/p&gt;
