چکیده
Composting is a good option of solid waste recycling, but its use by the farmers limited because low nutrient status. Our study has considered organic amendments to increase status MSW compost. We prepared three types amended compost mixing 20% mustard oil cake (MOC) and 30% poultry manure (PM) or cowdung (CD) sugarcane press mud (SPM) with 50% Trichoderma viridi inoculum was used accelerate composting process. Different improved level A field experiment conducted measure performances composts alone fertilizers on yield content brinjal (Solanum melongena) soil fertility. The carried out at Bangladesh Agricultural University research farm having silt loam texture, 6.7 pH 2.79% matter; Aeric Haplaquept under order Inceptisols. There were 10 treatments consisting chemical (urea, TSP, MoP, gypsum & zinc sulphate) four (3 enriched 1 unenriched). had increased due application composts. Based results fruit (edible portion) N, P, K S concentrations brinjal, availability, mixture +10 t ha-1 (MSW + MOC SPM in ratio 5:2:3) found as best treatment. Results this have significant value fertilizer management strategies for cultivation sub-tropical countries.

Effect of compost-, sand-, or gypsum-amended waste foundry sands on turfgrass yield and nutrient content.
To prevent the 7 to 11 million metric tons of waste foundry sand (WFS) produced annually in the USA from entering landfills, current research is focused on the reuse of WFSs as soil amendments. The effects of different WFS-containing amendments on turfgrass growth and nutrient content were tested by planting perennial ryegrass (Lolium perenne L.) and tall fescue (Schedonorus phoenix (Scop.) Hol...
