چکیده
The atomization process is critical for combustion systems since it directly influences emissions and performance. Thus injection system should provide the spray required structure characteristics, e.g., angle droplet size distribution. Therefore, this work investigates effects of varying fuel type, air co-flow rates, mass flow rate temperature on characteristics (e.g., distribution velocity) in an annular burner. These were investigated by measuring sizes velocities at different radial axial positions n-Heptane, n-Decane n-Dodecane sprays under non-reacting conditions a room pressure 1 atm 298 K using Microscopic Diffused Back-illumination (MDBI) technique. In addition, Sauter mean diameter (SMD) predicted three well-known correlations compared to experimental measurements. outcomes research provided fair understanding influence these parameters velocity through wide test matrix. Finally, findings reported here will support future into function phase change flame stability.

the effect of taftan pozzolan on the compressive strength of concrete in the environmental conditions of oman sea (chabahar port)
cement is an essential ingredient in the concrete buildings. for production of cement considerable amount of fossil fuel and electrical energy is consumed. on the other hand for generating one tone of portland cement, nearly one ton of carbon dioxide is released. it shows that 7 percent of the total released carbon dioxide in the world relates to the cement industry. considering ecological issu...
Impact of Reaction and Location of a Pilot Jet on the Flow Structures in a Co-annular Swirl Burner
The paper investigates the impact of heat release and pilot jet location on the swirling flow structures in a coannular swirl burner without confinement. Two iso-thermal turbulent swirling flow cases and three turbulent premixed swirling flames are studied with the aid of large-eddy simulation. Two geometries are considered, one featuring a pilot lance flush with the outlet and one with retract...

Sap flow of three co-occurring Mediterranean woody species under varying atmospheric and soil water conditions.
We studied the seasonal patterns of water use in three woody species co-occurring in a holm oak forest in northeastern Spain. The three species studied, Quercus ilex L., Phillyrea latifolia L. and Arbutus unedo L., constitute more than 99% of the total basal area of the forest. The study period included the dry seasons of 1999 and 2000. Water use was estimated with Granier-type sap flux sensors...
