چکیده
Metasurfaces are artificial sheets with sub-wavelength thickness and they two-dimensional equivalents of metamaterials. The generalized sheet transition conditions (GSTCs) have been recently proposed for electromagnetic analysis the metasurfaces. In GSTCs, metasurface is generally modeled as a zero-thickness. However, conventional finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method not straightforwardly applied to analyze wave propagation in metsurface by harnessing GSTCs because exhibit electric magnetic discontinuities. Alternatively, GSTC-FDTD formulation highly suitable analyzing properties metasurfaces introducing virtual grids. Meanwhile, can be realized using 2-D materials such black phosphorus thus dispersion characteristics should considered. this work, we propose an efficient dispersive algorithm employing Drude model. Moreover, first time, numerical surface susceptibility inherent derived its accuracy investigated. Numerical examples illustrate high efficiency Drude-dispersive algorithm.

Implementation of the Fdtd Method Based on Lorentz-drude Dispersive Model on Gpu for Plasmonics Applications
We present a three-dimensional finite difference time domain (FDTD) method on graphics processing unit (GPU) for plasmonics applications. For the simulation of plasmonics devices, the Lorentz-Drude (LD) dispersive model is incorporated into Maxwell equations, while the auxiliary differential equation (ADE) technique is applied to the LD model. Our numerical experiments based on typical domain s...

This work deals with the use of our recent generalized dispersive material (GDM) model built on Pade approximants that is applied to FDTD simulations of nanoplasmonic structures. In particular, our original formulation is compared to the classical recursive-convolution technique for the Lorentz oscillator using a complex recursive accumulator. The proposed GDM model is then used to simulate the...

A novel general technique for treating electrically thin dispersive layer with the finite difference time domain (FDTD) method is introduced. The proposed model is based on the modifying of the node update equations to account for the layer, where the electric and magnetic flux densities are locally averaged in the FDTD grid. Then, based on the characteristics that the complex permittivity and ...

Introduced a new method for computing dispersive media using finite difference time domain method by employing the recursive convolution approach to evaluate the discrete time convolution of the electric field and the dielectric susceptibility function. The RC approach results in a fast and computationally efficient algorithm; however, the accuracy achieved is not generally as good as that obta...
