چکیده
The global annual steel waste associate with interface corrosion represent significant challenges for steel’s lifetime as well sustainable development of modern society. Herein, we report a unique multi-dimensional quaternary hybrid superstructure photocathodic protection (PCP) which not only has an intense visible to near-infrared absorptivity generating ‘hot’ electrons but also can provide time-delay anti-corrosion functions in the dark. We exemplified PCP performance this composite on typical 304 stainless (304SS) results its surface potential shifting negatively by about 660 mV compared natural under light illumination. Besides, without illumination is demonstrated, resulted from “electron pool” effect associates embedded zero-dimensional quantum dots. Based density functional theory (DFT) simulations comprehensive electron microscopy studies, elucidate origin enhanced performances are attributed improved work per photon using carriers, surpass limit state-of-the-art technologies. In addition, found use one-dimensional titanium dioxide nanorods and two-dimensional reduced graphene oxide scaffold structure metal nanoparticles forces photoinduced transfer functionalized 304SS. Various promising functionalities arises as-proposed material be envisioned.

Photocathodic Protection of 304 Stainless Steel by Bi2S3/TiO2 Nanotube Films Under Visible Light
We report the preparation of TiO2 nanotubes coupled with a narrow bandgap semiconductor, i.e., Bi2S3, to improve the photocathodic protection property of TiO2 for metals under visible light. Bi2S3/TiO2 nanotube films were successfully synthesized using the successive ionic layer adsorption and reaction (SILAR) method. The morphology and structure of the composite films were studied by scanning ...

Solving a Redundancy Allocation Problem by a Hybrid Multi-objective Imperialist Competitive Algorithm
A redundancy allocation problem (RAP) is a well-known NP-hard problem that involves the selection of elements and redundancy levels to maximize the system reliability under various system-level constraints. In many practical design situations, reliability apportionment is complicated because of the presence of several conflicting objectives that cannot be combined into a single-objective functi...
