چکیده
Abstract The paper presents an exact analytical method for the elastic analysis of steel-concrete composite beams with partial interaction. Accepting basic assumptions Newmark model and adopting axial force in concrete slab as main unknown, second order nonhomogeneous differential equation element interaction is derived. Further, complete solutions simply supported fixed-ended subjected to concentrated uniform loads respectively, are developed. solution homogeneous determined by imposing proper Dirichlet or Neumann boundary conditions depending on static scheme element. particular then derived considered loading conditions. It shown that internal associated can be expressed a fraction under full through non-dimensional function f(aL) which takes into account connection’s stiffness, mechanical properties also length Moreover, included flexibility-based approach derive force-displacement relations beam For resulted 2-noded beam-column 6DOF, stiffness matrix derived, showing action may at level means series correction factors applied standard full-interaction coefficients. Nonlinear Time-Dependent Behavior of Composite Steel-Concrete Beams
This paper presents a mixed finite element model for the nonlinear time-dependant analysis of composite beams with partial shear connection. The key idea is to consider, as a first approach, a viscoelastic/plastic model for the concrete slab in order to simulate the interaction between the time effects of concrete, such as creep and shrinkage, and the concrete cracking. Creep is taken into acco...
متن کاملLong-term Stress of Simply Supported Steel-concrete Composite Beams
The theoretical model to compute the long-term stress of simply supported steel-concrete composite beam was deduced. The model includes the effects of steel bars in concrete slab, concrete shrinkage and creep. The computed results agreed well with the test results. On this basis, the effects of factors such as concrete age to loading, longitudinal reinforcement ratio in concrete slab, concrete ...
متن کاملFinite Element Response Sensitivity Analysis of Steel-Concrete Composite Beams with Deformable Shear Connection
The behavior of steel-concrete composite beams is strongly influenced by the type of shear connection between the steel beam and the concrete slab. For accurate analytical predictions, the structural model must account for the interlayer slip between these two components. In numerous engineering applications e.g., in the fields of structural optimization, structural reliability analysis, and fi...
متن کاملRetrofitting of Reinforced Concrete Beams with Steel Fiber Reinforced Composite Jackets
In the present study, a new method for retrofitting reinforced concrete beam is introduced in which steel-concrete composite jackets containing steel fiber is used. For this purpose, 75% of the peripheral surface of reinforced concrete beams was initially reinforced using steel plates and bolts, and steel fiber reinforced concrete was used between the steel plates and the peripheral surfaces of...
متن کاملBehavior of Steel–Concrete Composite Beams with Corroded Shear Studs Under Negative Bending Moment
The behavior of corroded steel–concrete composite beams under hogging moment was studied by experimental investigation and theoretical analysis. A total of eight specimens, six of which had corroded shear studs, were tested. The corrosion rate of studs ranged from 0 to approximately 50%. The constant-current accelerated corrosion method was adopted to accelerate the corrosion process. The loadi...
