چکیده
Abstract Rehabilitation robots are becoming an important means of assisted living for the elderly, and appearance rehabilitation directly affects willingness elderly to interact with robots. Much current research on robot preferences relies solely subjective evaluations, which relatively cheap, but do not reach deep into brain get accurate grasp how humans respond appearance. Using electroencephalogram signal questionnaire survey, we studied preference abstract figurative The experimental materials derived from pictures 10 in market. collected by BrainVision Recorder processed Analyzer, as well SPSS statistical analysis. Experiment shows that peak is higher fluctuation more intense 350 ms 600 central region right half parietal region. While prefrontal region, difference between obvious occipital Based results, it provides possibility objective evaluation designed features.

Detection of Fatigue from Electroencephalogram Signal During Neurofeedback Training
Timely diagnosis of fatigue helps to improve the quality and effectiveness of neurofeedback training. Neurofeedback training (NFT) is a method that can change brain activity by altering brain signal fluctuations and teaches individuals to produce or reproduce their brain activity patterns in order to improve performance. Neurofeedback training has been widely utilized over the recent years owi...
متن کاملAutomatic Diagnosis of Epilepsy Using Electroencephalogram (EEG) Signal Analysis
Epilepsy is a very common neurological disorder. Electroencephalogram (EEG) is the major diagnostic tool used for analyzing the human epileptic seizure activity and there is a strong need of an efficient automatic seizure detection using it to ease the diagnosis. This work aims at an automatic system for diagnosis of epilepsy. Here we extract some features like fractal dimensions, sample entrop...
متن کاملConceptual Design of a Gait Rehabilitation Robot
Gait rehabilitation using body weight support on a treadmill is a recommended rehabilitation technique for neurological injuries, such as spinal cord injury. In this paper, a new robotic orthosis is presented for treadmill training. In the presented design the criteria such as low inertia of robot components, backdrivability, high safety and degrees of freedom based on human walking are conside...
متن کاملWavelet-ICA based Denoising of Electroencephalogram Signal
Electroencephalogram (EEG) signals are having very small amplitudes and because of that they can be easily contaminated by different Artifacts. The presence of artifacts makes the analysis of EEG difficult for clinical evaluation. The major types of artifacts that affect the EEG are Power Line noise, eye movements, Electromyogram (EMG), and Electrocardiogram (ECG). Out of these artifacts Power ...
متن کاملExpert system approach to electroencephalogram signal processing
The human electroencephalogram (EEG) is often corrupted by ocular artefacts (OAs) caused by the movement of the eyes and/or the eyelids, making the recognition of abnormal EEG signals more difficult. The removal of OAs using conventional signal processing is complicated by the similarity between abnormal EEGs and OAs, which can lead to corruption of the EEG signal. The paper describes the devel...
