Electrical and Thermomechanical Co-Simulation Platform for NPP

چکیده
In order to analyze the safety of nuclear power plants (NPP), interactions between thermomechanical and automation processes, on-site electrical grid, off-site transmission system should be studied in detail. However, an initial survey simulation tools used for modelling NPP shows that existing have some drawbacks properly simulating aforementioned interactions. fact, they simulate detailed systems but neglect with processes. To address this challenge, paper develops open-source co-simulation platform which connects Apros, a proprietary simulator processes NPP, simulators. The proposed provides opportunity both simultaneously, study them without neglecting any details. This analysis can identify critical faults more accurately, better support probabilistic risk analyses (PRA) NPP. investigate effectiveness platform, models located Finland, are cosimulated. preliminary results emphasize domains may lead inaccurate affect safety.

abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...
Behavioral Modeling and Simulation of MEMS Electrostatic and Thermomechanical Effects
This thesis extends and updates the N__qodal Design of Actuators and Sensors (NODAS) library previously developed at Carnegie Mellon University. NODAS is a library of atomic element lumped parameter behavioral models written in Verilog-A, an analog hardware description language (AHDL). It is used for the simulation of MEMS devices in a SPICE-like circuit simulator. Physics modeling, accuracy ve...
