چکیده

We demonstrate the use of a low-cost liquid-crystal-based wavelength-tunable filter and CMOS video camera to add hyperspectral imaging capabilities probe station equipped with simple optical microscope. The resultant setup is used rapidly resolve spectral spatial variations in electroluminescence typically observed for InxGa1−xN/GaN light-emitting diodes. Applying standard statistical analyses variation within multivariate datasets, such as moments principal components, we observe inhomogeneities on scale significantly smaller than bandwidth tunable filter. tool offers an alternative scanning beam luminescence techniques high-throughput analysis optoelectronic devices.

Hyperspectral Imaging with Liquid- Crystal Tunable Filter for Tissues Characterization

We developed and characterized a new near-infrared hyperspectral imaging system. The system consists of a charged coupled device and liquid crystal tunable filter, which is continuously tunable in the near-infrared spectral range of 650-1100 nm with a mean bandwidth of 5 nm. Experiments are conducted to quantitatively determine normal tissues characterization. In the first experiment, hyperspec...

Electroluminescence in organic light emitting diodes

Principle of electroluminescence The light emission in the presented OLED is based on the formation of electron-hole-pairs within conjugated polymers with semiconducting properties. Therefore a suitable polymer like PPV (fig. 1) has to be placed between a transparent anode and a metallic cathode (fig. 2). By application of an electric voltage electrons (on the cathode side) and holes (on the an...

Hyperspectral Imaging : Wide-Area Spectrophotometry Using a Liquid-Crystal Tunable Filter

This paper reports on the use of a tunable, liquid-crystal Ðlter to obtain simultaneous, low-resolution spectrophotometry of multiple stars within a moderately crowded Ðeld. The Ðlter is electronically tunable to any wavelength in the range from 400 to 720 nm with a nominal passband of 10 nm FWHM. In order to evaluate the performance of this Ðlter, the central region of the Jewel Box cluster, N...

Transient electroluminescence of polymer light emitting diodes using electrical pulses

Detailed experimental and theoretical analysis of the pulsed excitation of polymer light emitting diodes is presented. We find a set of universal transient features for a variety of device configurations ~different polymers/cathodes! which can be reproduced using our phenomenological numerical model. We find that the temporal evolution of the electroluminescence in response to a step voltage pu...

Electroluminescence of ZnO Nanowire/p-GaN Heterojunction Light Emitting Diodes

This article reports forward and reverse biased emission in vertical ZnO nanowire/p-GaN heterojunction light emitting diodes (LEDs) grown out of solution on Mg-doped p-GaN films. The electroluminescence spectra under forward and reverse bias are distinctly different. Forward bias showed two peaks centered around 390 nm and 585 nm, while reverse bias showed a single peak at 510 nm. Analysis of t...
