Electron-induced nuclear magnetic ordering in n -type semiconductors

Nuclear magnetism in n-doped semiconductors with positive hyperfine constant is revisited. Two kinds of nuclear magnetic ordering can be induced by resident electrons a deeply cooled spin system. At temperature below critical value, randomly oriented polarons similar to that predicted I. Merkulov [I. Merkulov, Physics the Solid State 40, 930 (1998)] should emerge. These are and within each polaron electron spins aligned antiferromagnetically. negative value we predict another type - dynamically ferromagnet. This long-range ferromagnetically ordered state involving both nuclei. It form if relaxation dominated coupling, rather than spin-orbit interaction. Application theory GaAs suggests ferromagnetic order may reached at experimentally achievable $\Theta_N \approx 0.5$ $\mu$K lattice $T_L 5$ K.
