Electronic System of Remote Optical Control of LiNbO3 Mach-Zehnder Modulator Operating Point

چکیده
A system for integrated optical LiNbO3 Mach–Zehnder modulator operating point remote control and stabilization was developed. It consisted of a conventional telecom photodiode passive electronic circuit at the bias input modulator. Light from an amplitude-modulated laser used to remotely set output voltage Information regarding current that had been provided with feedback implementation taken DC values high frequency photodetector currents. Efficient over 1 km single-mode fiber, which multiplexes carrier 1550 nm low signal peak power 2 mW 1310 nm, demonstrated. The results could be interest antenna remoting, radio-over-fiber (RoF) technology, other applications broadband transmission sources in distributed network.
