Emergency remote teaching: EFL instructors’ satisfaction with teaching online

The purpose of this study was to investigate English language instructors’ satisfaction with teaching online in an emergency remote context. A mixed-method approach used for data collection which both quantitative and qualitative methods were used. While the collected through Online Faculty Satisfaction Survey (OFSS) participation 205 instructors, semi-structured interviews conducted 16 instructors collect data. analysed descriptive statistics. from content analysis. findings indicated that not satisfied online. Although convenience flexibility education created a sense among students’ low levels motivation, attendance classes, lack face-to-face contact interaction students, technological equipment internet connection problems most significant causes instructors' dissatisfaction teaching.
