چکیده

The rapid development of the additive manufacturing industry is a great opportunity both for in context prototyping and hobbyists using 3D printers at home. At same time, such technological poses significant challenge specialists dealing with sources pollutant emissions to environment as well Occupational Health Safety (OHS) assessment chemical hazards workplace. In this article, authors demonstrate legitimacy concern regarding issues relating from printing process, particular FFF (fused filament fabrication). We carried out tests on emission volatile organic compounds printer chamber compared them results analyses conducted materials laboratory conditions by heating vial. They showed that spectrometric analysis differed cases, which proved clear influence parameters amount type emitted substances. article also presents sizes shapes solid particles during process aggregated analyses.

The Volatile Compounds and Bioactivity of Achillea sieheana Stapf. (Asteraceae)

The in vitro antioxidant and antimicrobial activities of the essential oil and methanolic extract of Achillea sieheana Staf. (Asteraceae) were investigated in this study. The chemical composition of the essential oil isolated by hydro-distillation from the aerial parts of A. sieheana was analyzed by GC–MS. Camphor (43.36%), Artemisia ketone (25.95%), 1.8-cineole (6.29%) and camphene (4.77%) wer...

Emissions of volatile organic compounds during the decomposition of plant litter

[1] Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are emitted during plant litter decomposition, and such VOCs can have wide‐ranging impacts on atmospheric chemistry, terrestrial biogeochemistry, and soil ecology. However, we currently have a limited understanding of the relative importance of biotic versus abiotic sources of these VOCs and whether distinct types of litter emit different types and quantiti...

detection of volatile compounds of medicinal plants with some nano-sorbents using modified or new methodologies and investigation of antioxidant activity of their methanolic extracts

in this work, a novel and fast method for direct analysis of volatile compounds (davc) of medicinal plants has been developed by holding a filament from different parts of a plant in the gc injection port. the extraction and analysis of volatile components of a small amount of plant were carried out in one-step without any sample preparation. after optimization of temperature, extraction time a...

Modeling Emissions of Volatile Organic Compounds from New Carpets

A simple model is proposed to account for observed emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from new carpets. The model assumes that the VOCs originate predominantly in a uniform slab of polymer backing material. Parameters for the model (the initial concentration of a VOC in the polymer, a diffusion coefficient and an equilibrium polymer/air partition coefficient) are obtained from exper...

Karin Granström Emissions of volatile organic compounds from wood

The central aim of this thesis is to support the efforts to counteract certain environmental problems caused by emissions of volatile organic compounds. The purpose of this work was (1) to develop a method to measure emissions from dryers, (2) to determine the effect of drying medium temperature and end moisture content of the processed material on emissions of monoterpenes and other hydrocarbo...
