Enhancement of Gas Production From Clayey Silt Hydrate Reservoirs Based on Near Wellbore Artificial Fractures Constructed Using High-Pressure Rotating Water Jets Technology

چکیده

Over 90% of the global hydrate resources are stored in very-low-permeability clayey silt reservoirs. The low permeability significantly restricts efficiency gas and water flow into production well. To enhance low-permeability reservoirs, high-pressure rotating jets (HPRWJ) technology is proposed to construct near wellbore artificial fractures (NWAFs) HPRWJ avoid risks hydraulic fracturing as well large-scale reservoir damage, which makes it more suitable for constructing hydrate-bearing sediments (HBS). In this article, site SH7 South China Sea studied evaluate feasibility enhancing reservoirs by numerical simulation. results show that productivity increased approximately three times using NWAFs with a depth 3 m. It suggested promising method improving from Furthermore, performance closely related NWAF depth, permeability, spacing. For Sea, spacing recommended m, 3D, respectively.

A Device for Debridement Using High Pressure Water Jets

Removing devitalized tissue from chronic wounds through debridement is critical to promote wound healing. In this thesis, technology using high-speed water jets is explored toward applications for debridement. After presenting possible techniques, the thesis expands on one promising method using two impinging cutting jets that is further developed and demonstrated on simulated necrotic tissue. ...

Simulation Study on the Effect of Fracturing Technology on the Production Efficiency of Natural Gas Hydrate

Natural gas hydrate (NGH) concentrations hold large reserves of relatively pure unconventional natural gases, consisting mainly of methane. Depressurization is emerging as the optimum conversion technology for converting NGH in its reservoir to its constituent water and natural gas. NGH concentrations commonly have a pore fill of over 80%, which means that NGH is a low-permeability reservoir, a...

Geothermal energy from abandoned oil and gas wells using water in combination with a closed wellbore

Binary cycle power plants have been used successfully for electricity generation utilizing co-produced fluids from active onshore oil wells. Adapting this process for use on abandoned wells by circulating the binary working fluid down the wellbore has been previously proposed and a selection of fluids evaluated. This work proposes and evaluates an approach using water as the wellbore fluid in c...

Optimization of Operation Parameters for Helical Flow Cleanout with Supercritical CO2 in Horizontal Wells Using Back-Propagation Artificial Neural Network

Sand production and blockage are common during the drilling and production of horizontal oil and gas wells as a result of formation breakdown. The use of high-pressure rotating jets and annular helical flow is an effective way to enhance horizontal wellbore cleanout. In this paper, we propose the idea of using supercritical CO2 (SC-CO2) as washing fluid in water-sensitive formation. SC-CO2 is m...
