Enhancing BIM Diffusion through Pilot Projects in Vietnam

Significant BIM uptake barriers in Vietnam include the lack of awareness and knowledge on BIM, high investment costs, shortage regulations, standards or guidance related to AEC industry. This research focuses enhancing diffusion through eight selected projects with diversity type, scale (grade), location funding sources - representing myriad construction project classifications Vietnam. Additional reporting interview sessions were held professionals involved projects, notion immersing into professional experience during project. These experiences extracted provide implementation lessons learnt for future highlighted key issues around skills competencies, guidance. The findings will support stakeholders adopt solutions meet adoption challenges enhance effectiveness projects.
