Enhancing the dielectric properties of poly (arylene ether nitrile) by introducing co-modified BaTiO<sub>3</sub>

Abstract In this study, a facile co-modification of dopamine (DA) and methylphenyldimethoxysilane (MPDS) was utilized to functionalize barium titanate (BaTiO 3 ) nanoparticles with organic functional film. With the film coated on surface BaTiO , compatibility between PEN matrix greatly enhanced, which led promotion in thermal dielectric properties. Results indicated that glass transition temperature (T g @(MPDS+PDA)/PEN composite showed increment from 171.9°C 181.2°C. Besides, constant containing 20 wt.% @(MPDS+PDA) improved 9.32 relative low loss compared /PEN under same additive ratio.

Polybenzimidazole block sulfonated poly(arylene ether sulfone) ionomers.

Novel ionomers based on polybenzimidazole block sulfonated poly(arylene ether sulfone) show excellent thermal properties. The ionic aggregation of sulfonic acid groups leads to well-developed phase separated morphology and thus high proton conductivity at wide humidity range, up to 65 mS cm(-1) at 90% relative humidity.
