Entelechy, Gyroscopes, and QBism: developing a Quantum Metaphor for the vital force
نویسندگان
چکیده
Background Entelechy (e.g., Hahnemann’s Vital Force, Vf), bears striking similarities to certain properties of quantum systems. Thus, the Vf is only indirectly observable via (centrifugally) expressed symptoms: a property its experimental effects. Consequently, quantised ‘gyroscopic’ metaphor proposed where ‘axial’ rotation (represented by wavefunction) undergoes dis-ease-induced retardation leading ‘precession’, i.e., symptom expression. Remedy-induced acceleration axial results in cure, centrifugal removal dis-ease, so precession/symptom expression ceases. The ‘gyroscope’ considered partly because patients are observed during ‘discreet’ appointments, not continuously. Objective To develop this further generating wavefunctions represent various states dis-ease and health. Method Three generated from secondary symptoms exhibited patient’s Vf, as practitioner. more wave functions analogous (unobserved) hypothetical states, representing evolving health into precursor dis-eased state. Results discussion evolution therapeutic/dis-ease processes imagined transformations between these wavefunctions, visualised patient on six nine points an enneagram. remaining three practitioner ‘entangled’ with processes. may be divided two groups - one symptoms, other separated notional therapeutic ‘event horizon’. practitioner, Janus-like, manages process ‘negotiating’ groups. Conclusion An interpretation theory called QBism (i.e., Quantum Bayesianism, which wavefunction represents total subjective information available assigning agent, shared separate objective reality), suggests could Chalmers-like non-reductive starting for considering influence consciousness process.

15 صفحه اولthe search for the self in becketts theatre: waiting for godot and endgame
this thesis is based upon the works of samuel beckett. one of the greatest writers of contemporary literature. here, i have tried to focus on one of the main themes in becketts works: the search for the real "me" or the real self, which is not only a problem to be solved for beckett man but also for each of us. i have tried to show becketts techniques in approaching this unattainable goal, base...

The emerging field of Evolutionary Computation (EC), inspired by neo-Darwinian principles (e.g. natural selection, mutation, etc. ), offers developmental psychologists a wide array of mathematical tools for simulating ontogenetic processes. In this brief review; I begin by highlighting three of the approaches that EC researchers employ (Artificial Life, evolutionary robotics and comparative sto...

this study intends to investigate samuel beckett’s waiting for godot and endgame under the lacanian psychoanalysis. it begins by explaining the most important concepts of lacanian psychoanalysis. the beckettian characters are studied regarding their state of unconscious, and not the state of consciousness as is common in most beckett studies. according to lacan, language plays the sole role in ...
